By accessing or using the parent or student portal, you agree to the following:

1. You confirm that you are an authorized student, parent or legal guardian of the student linked to your account.

2. You are responsible for keeping your username, password and verification codes secure. Do not share your account with another person.

3. The portal may be used only for authorized school activities, including accessing academic records, fee information, notices, communication and other school services.

4. You must not attempt to access another person’s information, interfere with the system, provide false information or use the portal for any unlawful purpose.

5. Information displayed on the portal is provided and managed by the school. Any incorrect academic, fee, attendance or personal information should be reported to the School for correction.

6. Payments made through banks, mobile-money providers or other payment services may also be subject to the provider’s terms and charges.

7. The School and Africa Cloud Space Ltd will take reasonable steps to keep the portal secure and available. However, temporary interruptions may occur during maintenance, upgrades or circumstances beyond their control.

8. Your personal information will be handled according to the Privacy Policy displayed on the portal.

9. Access may be suspended where there is suspected misuse, unauthorized access, a security risk or violation of these Terms.

Data Collection, Usage and Protection

• For the purposes of this clause, “Data” means name, nationality, gender, age, physical or postal address, identification details, email address, telephone/mobile number and any other personal information belonging to the parent or child that may be provided by the parent to the school on behalf of the child.
• The School shall only use personal data for a specified and legitimate purpose and shall not process it in a manner that is contrary to those purposes. Any changes to the purpose for which the data is collected, processed and used shall be premised on a legitimate ground, and shall only be effected with the consent of the parent.
• I unconditionally consent to:

The collection, use, processing and transfer by the school of the Data;

The use, processing, and transfer by the school of the Data to its advisors, authorized agents, the Ministry of Education and educational bodies/agencies assigned thereto; and

The transfer of the Data to third parties and the retention of the Data by the said third parties in connection with the child’s education.
